What Are We Doing Here?
Firstly, welcome! Thank you for making the journey all the way from social media to this very adult and sophisticated newsletter format with me (we’re so grown up). I decided to do this for 2 reasons.
Because I do a lot of yapping on my instagram stories and people have seemed to take a liking to that.
Because I follow a newsletter called creator spotlight.
They talk alot about creator news and provide the occasional inspiring word and I thought to myself “well I think I do something similar from time to time and I know how to put sentences together so I want to try that out.” So whoever you are, whether you’re a creator or someone who enjoys watching me talk to myself on camera, I’m doing this for us; the peoples people who are just people doing our best to be good people.
What Can We Expect To See?
I’m glad you asked that. As a lot of you may know I make ridiculous videos that people seem to find funny. I do that as a passion and creative outlet. My pursuit of molding that creative outlet into a career has led me down a path of deep introspection and self actualization. You may be thinking to yourself “I’m confused is making instagram jokes turning him into some kind of guru?” The answer is yes. (I’m joking that was a joke its very hard to translate humor to text.)
In all seriousness its less about the jokes and more about what going down the less beaten path does to us. So in this newsletter Ill be sharing parts of my experience with my journey, bits of things that I find inspiring in general, and some practices that Ive found useful in hopes of inspiring and encouraging anyone that these words may come into contact with; all while keeping a light hearted and fun tone.
How Often Will You Do This?
You ask a lot of questions, friend. To start off Im thinking about sending out the newsletter biweekly, but that may or may not change depending on how charged I feel to share thoughts or something that may be able to provide some inspiration. Either way I thank you again for being a part of this journey and being a part of the growth that I am experiencing, because honestly any success that I am seeing would not be possible without the help and support of every single person that saw fit to hit “follow” on my social media accounts. So hopefully this and other things that I do to allow more personal connection serves as a heartfelt “thank you.” I’m feeling pretty good so expect the first official news letter next Monday lol.
P.S. There WILL, not may, WILL be grammatical errors on this journey so strap in if youre a grammar perfectionist. (I left the apostrophe out on purpose to give you a taste of what youre in for 😁 )
