Manifestation

How many times have you seen or heard someone talking about manifestation and how all you have to do is “think positively about what you want” and it’ll show up in your life? Well I’m here to tell you that whoever said that is absolutely right. But they’re only half right.

Manifestation isn’t a magic trick, its the result of a mental/spiritual shift. Think about a car. There are multiple components that make a car work but for this example we’re only talking about the engine and the gas tank (I know electric cars exist but for this to work the car in this example needs gas).

The car can’t work without both the engine and gas tank right? You can have a big powerful fuel efficient engine, but without the fuel you aren’t going anywhere and vice versa. Well think of the engine as your brain and the gas tank as your spirit or your subconscious or whatever you want to call it. You can think in your brain about how wealthy and healthy you are, but if you believe the opposite in your subconscious it almost doesn’t matter that you’re thinking those good thoughts. Internal belief is the foundation of most thought in the same way that seeds in soil are the foundation for the plants in a garden.

Assumption

If you read all that and thought “ok well show me how to change it then Mr. Expert” I’m sorry to disappoint but I’m waist deep in the middle of this process myself. But the good news is that I’m making progress so I know that it is possible to make the shift. Which brings me to my next point; assumption.

You may have heard of the term “fake it till you make it.” well in so many words that’s honestly what it is. Law of Assumption is thinking of what the successful or healthy version of yourself would do/think/feel on a daily and even moment to moment basis, and then doing/thinking/feeling those things yourself. And just like any exercise you’re doing for the first time; it is important to start small.

So instead of starting with “My millionaire self would probably be laying on beach feeling relief about the house I just paid off ”I’d start with“ My successful self probably feels safe all the time.” So I start giving myself reasons to feel safe by asking myself questions like “Am I in any real apparent danger right now?” And if I do that all day and there was never any danger then what I’ve just done is prove to myself that there isn’t any reason to feel unsafe, and if I continue that and make it habit then I’m starting to form the belief that I am safe at all times. I’m literally assuming the place of the version of myself that I visualized.

If you can handle the very difficult task of challenge your belief systems, even by starting small, you can literally shift yourself into the timelines that you visualize. If you don’t believe it’s possible then that might be the place to start. I pray that your day is amazing and your life even better.
